Erect herb, 1.1 m tall, calyx spreading, in fruit early anthesis. Single plant, at a small, exposed, grassy and sedgy drainage ditch, associated with abundant Ludwigia palustris (Peng 19269) & L. glandulosa (1 clump; Peng 12970)
